DJK Maol Nor Lexu vs DJK Xathia

Introduction (Xathia's post) The Trainer Venue: Execution Arena, Geonosis

Four large pillars cast their shadows to the dusty ground as DJK Maol Nor Lexu entered the miles-square oval. His feet crunched as he kicked up the loose dirt that covered the decades of compacted clay-topsoil. His neck craned as he scanned the acres of stands and seating that surrounded him as a voice shot through the slight breeze.

“Welcome!” DJK Xathia shouted from a seat perched high above the combatant. The brightness of the day scorched the fighter’s eyes as he strained to see the official’s form. Maol had brought his Lightsaber and Relby-K23 to the duel while Xathia was armed with her Lightsaber, Litch Blade and Serpent's Fang Dagger. There wasn’t much needed in the way of formality as the lay of the land was fairly obvious. With that the Trainer simply requested his readiness which was returned with a nod as the Sadowian made her way down to the arena.

“Don't waste my time Initiate” The official muttered, clambering down the last few steps.

Maol coughed, the air on the execution arena was dry and the dust accumulated in his throat like a magnet attracts needles. He pulled his cloak over his mouth and nose to limit the amount of the particles that he inhaled as he used his other hand to shield his eyes from the blowing sand. The Krath watched the Sith with a grin, the edges of her cloak swirling around her. She pulled out her Serpent’s fang dagger, the golden head of a serpent glittering with light momentarily, but quickly dulled, collecting a film of grime that seemed to seep into every pore of her pale skin.

The Kunian smirked, bowing low to the trainer his dark eyes never leaving Xathia’s face. The trainer maybe full with experiences but Maol looks more confident in him as he slowly walked around the Sadowian. Checking out his opponent, Maol looked about, wondering how he might win the battle. He could hardly move for an attack, though. There seemed a profound pointlessness to it all. In the motion, Maol quickly pull out his Relby-K23 and fire off a bolt at the motionless Krath. With amazing reflexes, Xathia snapped her lightsaber about and moving like lightning to parry Maol’s first shot. With the second shot, Xathia was more in control, and his parry sent the bolt right back at the Sith. But Maol was already in motion, diving sidelong and coming around ready to launch a series of shots the Krath’s way.

Xathia's Post
Shooting a few more bolts that were merely deflected by the saber of the Sadowian, Xathia mentally thanking her graceful style over one of the attacking ones, before the blaster misfired several times, casting a shadow of anger and doubt on the face of the male.

"Playing games with a weapon for those too scared to get into a fight is not going to impress me Sith."

The Trainer stated calmly as the Kunian momentarily took his eyes off the female. Striking her arm out swiftly, the Krath sent a billowing cloud of dust straight into his face [TE], her emerald eyes narrowed towards her adversary. There was something about him that just made the Omwati want to slaughter him to pieces, but that wasn't unusual for her cravings with Initiates as she waved it aside. His cries of annoyance merely angered the Krath's fury before Xathia leapt into the sand cloud, her daggers replacing her saber and swiping them out into his body, small and annoying cuts strategically placed around him before the Trainer quickly withdrew, keeping her distance from a building fire[PRW].

Her face was almost set into stone, this Initiate was no different from the others, he had no further talent then any of them, this was no different from normal. Once the male had appeared out of the dust cloud, Xathia merely glared at his existence. Why wouldn't they just die when they were asked to? His blaster was back out as he tried to rapidly fire several bolts again, smirking as the female deflected the three that actually came out with her Litch Blade. Maol was getting hot under the collar and it was affecting his 'performance' in battle.

"I thought you preferred brutish strength fighting, not blaster fighting?"

Called out the Sadowian, her daggers at the ready to teach the Sith a lesson.
